A New Dawn

Great to see so many faces, old and new, at the book fair this year and to receive such great feedback on our new digital venture iBiblios.  Exciting times indeed!

So what's it all about?    We are now able to offer digital services to publishers of ebooks and apps, not just in terms of production but also with the creative development.  Our iBiblios team are brimming with ideas, not just on how to make apps, but which books would benefit from it, how best to go about it, and most importantly - how to market it to try and actually turn a profit. Something many people dabbling in the world of apps are struggling to do...

Alongside this we unveiled our newly developed iSee software.  This is the most impressive image recognition software out there and blows the concept of the QR code out of the water. And what's even better is that we have a whole host of ideas on how to use it.

In this fast moving ever changing technological world, we don't ever intend to abandon the printed book, but we certainly think we have found some amazing ways of integrating the two worlds.

The stand was buzzing with interest and we even made it onto the Chinese National TV News:

London Bookfair 2012

The Bookfair is live and in full swing this morning and we are over flowing with appointments. Here is the stand before the storm - looking very swish and with lots of exciting new product development ideas just waiting to be unleased!

And on top of that we have given over a corner of our stand to our brand new company - iBiblios who are showcasing some exciting new technology as well as explaining all we can now offer on the digital publishing side. You can find out more here or visit us at stand V900.
